We had really lovely dinner here. Very good food, they do everything from pizza, pasta, meat,…kind and laidback personal-not always bothering and pushing you. Restaurant has great sitting area outside with nice port view.

Superb experience at La Staffa, Palermo.My girlfriend and I had several meals at La Staffa while staying in Palermo, and, having visited multiple parts of the country, can firmly say this was some of the best food we have had in Italy. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.The restaurant is a wonderful, family run oasis, with everything made entirely from scratch using, ostensibly, the local seafood in their dishes, but also serving up many local dishes too.If your Italian is not quite up to scratch, I recommend speaking to the son, who speaks excellent English and can help with the menu and is also thoroughly nice guy!A huge thank-you to the family at La Staffa for excellent food and being so accommodating!

Dropped in for a fast take-away salad. The host treated two pieces of mozzarella bread while we wait. It was a really nice touch ... and the local made mozzarella was awesome! Hope we could come back for their pizza...

One of the best Sicilian food I've ever tasted. Owner and son were very friendly. If your in the area it should be a definite stop.
